Beppe Devalle
In 1965, guest of the XXXIII Biennale di Venezia by Nello Ponete.
At the snd of the sixties he starts working on the collages with images taken from fashion magazines. The faces studied with ruler and compass unveiled unusual structural frames which the artist calls ‘real surprises’. In January 1970 the critics Barilli, Trini and Calvesi present his works at the Biennale dei Giovani artisti of Bologna.
In 1997 he leaves the chair of Painting at the academia di Brera of Milan and he moves to New York for the first of a long series of journeys to the United States.
His works are now in the collections of the Museum of Contemporary Art of Livorno, Cagliari, Parma and Turin.

The author
Alessandro Taiana è un pittore nato a Como nel 1967. Studia Accademia di Belle Arti a Milano nel corso di pittura di Beppe Devalle. Partecipa a varie esposizioni nazionali e internazionali. Nel 2001 si trasferisce a Madrid. Nel 2005 inizia ad utilizzare il video e realizza il suo primo documentario “Madrid al margen”. Partecipa al Taller de lenguaje documental” di Mercedes Alvarez.
Maurizio Radice nato nel 1966, master in CG presso Upgrade ATC Milano, master in documentario presso Scuole Civiche di Milano in 2003. Lavora nella post-produzione video e attualmente insegna alla Scuola Nazionale di Cinema – Torino.
